The South Carolina Green Fair is supported by a committee of passionate individuals, who believe that by educating both consumers and businesses through the Green Fair Events it is possible to make South Carolina an even finer place to live! Our purpose is to create excitement and enthusiasm for green products, services and technologies available to the residents of South Carolina using an environmentally responsible forum of education and entertainment.

The purpose of the Best In Green & Local Expo is to create opportunities for local and green businesses to share their products and services with like-minded businesses and consumers, while educating these businesses on ways to sensibly grow and improve in today’s evolving world. Our goal is to support South Carolina companies and shine a spotlight on those who are leading the way!

The Green Business Expo will allow businesses the opportunity to network and share their products or services with other business owners and consumers.   A full roster of workshops and speakers will give attendees an opportunity to learn about a variety of topics in the areas such as building a green team, finance, marketing, e-selling, leadership and more.

Some of the events will be:

  • Speakers on a variety of topics by experts in their fields.
  • Networking Luncheon featuring local ingredients and green restaurants.
  • Keynote Speakers Beezer Molton owner of Half-Moon Outfitters and Christine Von Kolnitz Cooley from MUSC.
  • Exhibitor Showcase – highlighting local green products and services.
  • Large Panel Discussion on how big business & manufacturing affects the local economy and small business in South Carolina.
  • Special Guest, Mayor Joseph P. Riley

“In this class attendees learn how to apply their selling skills to the world of e-commerce. Time is devoted to responding to all types of RFP’s and e-leads. Attendees are encouraged and mentored on how to use all resources available to create a strong bond and to craft proposals that are meaningful, customized and compelling (even in the absence of personal interaction). Selling successfully includes a strong well crafted call opening, probing, product presentation and closing. All of these skills will be addressed during this break out session.”
